The phone number to report emergencies (9-1-1) has not changed. Nor have the direct dial phone numbers for contacting City Department officials. There is now however, a convenient way for you to get in touch with the City of Los Angeles for all routine matters: 3-1-1. In Los Angeles, 3-1-1 Ambassadors are trained to answer questions, process service requests or assist you in contacting any City agency, local Elected Official or Commission Member.
