Grass - Weeds - Native Brush [ Click here for an example ]

  • Grass and weeds shall be cut to three inches in height.
  • Selected native brush shall be trimmed up from the ground 1/3 of its total height and be no closer than 18 feet from each other and/or structures. Native brush between shall be cut to three inches in height.

Combustible Fence

  • All brush, weeds, and grass shall be cut to three inches in height for a distance of 10 feet from all combustible fences.

Highway - Street - Alley [ Click here for an example ]

  • All brush, weeds, and grass shall be cut to three inches in height for a distance of 10 feet from all highways, streets, alleys, and driveways.

Trees [ Click here for an example ]

  • Trees must be spaced 18 feet apart.
  • Branches must be trimmed up to six feet from the ground. All dead material must be removed.
  • Branches must be trimmed up to five feet from any roof, even if the branches are from trees belonging to a neighbor which overhang your property.

Chimney [ Click here for an example ]

  • Trees shall be trimmed so the foliage is no closer than 10 feet from the outlet of the chimney.

Roof

  • Maintain roof surface free of substantial accumulation of leaves, needles, twigs, and all other combustible material.

All Cut Vegetation & Debris

  • Cut vegetation and debris must be removed in a legal manner.
  • Cut vegetation and debris may be machine processed (chipped) and spread back onto the property.
  • Chips shall not exceed three feet in depth within 30 inches and six inches beyond 30 feet of any structure.
  • Chips shall not be spread within 10 feet of any usable roadway.

The above general requirements also apply to landscape vegetation.
