Fire Service Recognition Day Open House at all City of Los Angeles Fire Stations

The second Saturday of May is designated "Fire Service Recognition Day" in Los Angeles. On this day, members of your Los Angeles Fire Department host an Open House at every Neighborhood Fire Station to warmly welcome visitors of all ages.

On Saturday, May 8, 2010** from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Neighborhood Fire Stations throughout the City of Los Angeles will be expecting your visit.

Along with personal tours at each Neighborhood Fire Station, special displays of Los Angeles Fire Department equipment, apparatus and procedures ARE ANTICIPATED to take place on Saturday, May 10 at:

• Hollywood - 1355 North Cahuenga Boulevard (and Pancake Breakfast)
• Sherman Oaks - 5101 North Sepulveda Boulevard
• Studio City - 4305 Vineland Avenue
• Beverly Glen - 14145 Mulholland Drive
• Downtown LA - Olvera Street
• Silver Lake - 2759 Rowena Avenue
• Jefferson Park - 3661 7th Avenue
• Exposition Park - 900 Exposition Boulevard
• Pacific Palisades - 15045 Sunset Boulevard
• San Pedro - Ports O'Call Village

** Those unable to attend on Saturday due to religious observance, are encouraged to join us instead on Sunday, May 9 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at these ANTICIPATED special locations:
