Los Angeles – Members of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Air Operations division greeted Lucky the dog and his new owner, Rachel Dalby, for the first time since his dramatic river rescue on January 30th.  
Lucky was adopted by Rachel in the days following his rescue and they received a surprise gift from representatives of VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital.
LAFD Responds to Man on Fire in Van Nuys Coffee House

Van Nuys - LAFD units responded to a fire in a Van Nuys coffee shop to find a fire out in the bathroom. Sadly, one person suffered extensive burns to his body and was taken in critical condition to a local hospital by paramedics.

KOREATOWN - Early morning flames run the attic of a one story row of businesses and threaten several stores. Quick actions by Los Angeles Firefighters limit fire damage.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was called just before 5:00 AM on February 4, 2015 to 4015 Beverly Boulevard, where Firefighters found smoke coming from the attic of the Panaderia El Salvador Bakery.
